Brenda Carter Gayle, 73, of Beaverdam passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Henrico Doctors Hospital, Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Virginia Carter; her husband, J.R. Gayle and her brothers, Albert Carter and Michael Carter. Survivors include her daughers, Pamela Collins; Sheila Moore (Richard) and Katrina Lewis (Larry); four sisters, Phyllis Barker (Howard), Faye Greene, Virginia Scott (Rufus) and Elaine West (Jimmy); three brothers, Jimmy Carter (Linda), Steve Carter and Danny Carter (Victoria); six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13^th at 11:00 am in Beaverdam United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Rouzie’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, two hours prior to the funeral. A potluck reception will take place at Beaverdam United Methodist church following the burial.
