Raymond Richard Phillips Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday February 19th 2019. He was born in Prince George County Maryland to Richard Raymond and Georgia Marjorie (Moore) Phillips on Tuesday October 2nd 1956.
Raymond started working side-by-side as a teenager with his father learning a trade passed down through the generations of his family of carpenters. Throughout his 40 plus year career he acquired the skills to become a Master Trim Carpenter. Building was not only Raymond’s occupation but a favored hobby and pastime he used to teach his children, leaving behind his legacy.
Survived by one sister, Cindy (Phillips) Butler, 6 children, Michelle, Angela, Tanya, Raymond III, Heather and Bridgette Phillips, 5 nieces and nephews and 10 grandchildren. Joining parents Richard and Georgia, sister Sharon and grandson Adrian in heaven. May he forever rest in peace.
