We are truly saddened to hear Rod has passed away, leaving his friends and family too soon. We smile, however, when we think of Shirley and Fred welcoming him with big hugs. Imagine the stories those three can continue to tell and shenanigans they can pull off. Best wishes to Julie and Terry, and your wonderful families, Thanks for sharing your loved ones with us. Our fond memories of good, honest and fun-loving friends will live on and inspire.

I was very saddened to hear of Rod's death. I first met Rod when his girls were in my 5th grade Sunday school class a few (??) years ago. Rod was one of the most involved fathers in the Sunday school life kids. I always enjoyed and appreciated talking to him. In more recent years, after I retired, we reconnected and became fishing buddies. He made using a fly rod an art, that it truly is. Blessings to the entire family, Jack (Mr C.) Clevenger

I met Rod years ago when I first went to work at Ferry Farm Baptist Church as secretary. He sold us the copier and I was so impressed with Rod and the service he always gave, that as he changed companies I stayed with him. He was that good. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Julie Young

Dear Family. I can’t tell you how saddened I am to hear of Rods passing. Although I have lost touch with him for several years, I have thought about him hundreds of times. Remembering all the good times Randy and I had with the youth at Trinity Methodist and the special time with each one. We loved Rod. We thought of him as a son, as we did each one of our youth and Sunday School Class. I will cherish his memory throughout my life. I will be in prayer for all of the family and am confident that God will give you peace and strength throughout these next days, months and years of your grief.
