Suzanne W. Stout, 83, of Richmond passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Sue later moved to Virginia.  She worked at Mercer Hospital in Trenton, and then both MCV and Richmond Memorial hospitals in Richmond.  She later went to work at Circuit City, where she retired after 18 years. Stories of her kind heart, giving nature, and unbridled sense of humor will live on eternally. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Nicholas Werner and Edith Croasdale Werner, and her brother, Major Evan Croasdale Werner. She is survived by her children, Debbie Strang (Jeff), Ricky Stout (Shay), Evan Stout (Robin), Thomas Stout (Cornelia), and Lori Westerlund (Brian); eleven grandchildren (Robert, Scarlett, Niki, Tiffany, Megan, Nicholas, Felicity, Addison, Jeffery, Chris, Skye), and seven great grandchildren (Ava, A.J., Nicolas, Hailey, Abby, Jonah, Samuel). A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13^th at 2:00 pm in Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Ladysmith. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Ladysmith.
