Mrs. Dodd was a very sweet soul and a caring individual. Her gratitude for the littlest things made you feel good, but it was also a great example of how we all should be. Visiting with her slowed the world down for us, which we truly needed. She was extremely patient and very slow to utter anything resembling a negative comment, providing us more examples of how we ourselves should be day-in and day-out. She lived a long life and no doubt touched many people along the way. We feel fortunate to have been among them.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to family and friends. May all of your good memories be greater than your sadness during this difficult time. (Isaiah 25:8)

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. God promises us that He will comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I’d like to share with y’all this link that shows 12 steps on coping with grief that is good for sharing. I have personally found this very comforting and I hope y’all do as well. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=102018086&srcid=share

Mrs. Dodd was a kind and gentle soul. She never had an angry word for anyone. She loved her flowers, going to the casino, her family and Princess. She and Billy would watch as my youngest waited for the morning school bus. I never had to worry about her safety knowing Virginia and Billy were looking out for her. She made the best homemade Halloween treats and even taught my eldest how to make a pineapple upside down cake. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and will be missed by our family. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. With deepest regrets and fondest memories of Virginia. God bless you. Debbie, Chris, Carla Anne and "Twinkles" Bentley

Ms. Dodd always had a smile on her face. She made the day much more pleasant. Ms. Dodd was so thankful for every little thing and she always had nothing but nice things to say. Thank you for letting me be a part of a team that cared so much for her.
