Eddie was a friend and colleague of the Poetry Read Around group. We enjoyed many moments of great conversation. I will always be indebted to the genuine interest he showed in issues concerning people from Ghana and the fact that he was the one who encouraged me to write poetry in my native language, Twi. Visitation & Funeral Service Information
A small private funeral will take place at Christ Episcopal Church Spotsylvania, with burial of his ashes in Lakewood Cemetery, Bowling Green, per Ed’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Caroline County Animal Shelter or to support community fellowship at St. Asaph’s Episcopal Church in Bowling Green and Christ Episcopal Church in Spotsylvania.
