Willie Delma Coston, 104, of Bowling Green, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Born in North Carolina, Willie lived a long and full life, dedicating much of his career to his craft as a master carpenter, working for several companies in Newport News. His skill and dedication left a lasting impact on countless projects and lives.

Willie is survived by his beloved daughter, Frances Eagan, and his granddaughter, Angela McDaniel; a sister-in-law, Barbara Coston and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Jerry Coston, Marie Metts, Delphia Kennedy, and Lucille Coston.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of Willie’s friends who supported and cared for him, with special thanks to Jackie Monroe, his devoted caretaker of thirteen years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caroline Emergency Services, 233 W. Broaddus Avenue, Bowling Green, VA 22427.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 20402 Rogers Clark Blvd., Ruther Glen, VA. 22546

Willie’s legacy of craftsmanship, kindness, and resilience will be cherished by all who knew him.
