Angele was one of my most favorite students! We initially met in her first physics course at the University of Mary Washington. From the start I knew she was very bright and particularly creative. We met both in and out of the classroom as well as after she left UMW, to talk about physics and other things. I loved our meetings. She was very thoughtful, worked very hard to accomplish her goals and brought a unique light to every room she entered. For me, most importantly, she had one of the truest, kindest, most vulnerable hearts I have ever known. I was very, very lucky to have known her. Dr. Susan Matts 13 January 2019 --

I had the pleasure of working with Angele several years ago. She was a beautiful, sweet soul and was my son’s birthday buddy. I am so very sorry to learn of her passing. The world will be a bit darker without her in it.
