I consider it a tremendous blessing for having the opportunity to know Carla. Not only was she my neighbor, but I considered her a friend. She had a wonderful smile, a joyful personality and a giving heart. My life is better for knowing her. She will be terribly missed, but the glow of her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those she has touched.

Carla was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by us all. Growing up, she was the closest family member to a sister I had. I have many happy childhood memories visiting her, Marc, Aunt Jackie and Uncle Frank in Virginia. I always looked forward to our family reunions, knowing I'd get to see my cousin Carla. We both loved dogs and had a fascination of nature. I remember looking for butterflies and observing difference birds and insects with on walks around her neighborhood or at our family reunions in PA and NY. To say she was an avid reader, is an understatement. Carla 'always had her nose in a book'. She'd tell me about the stories she was reading and I found her fascinating to talk to. We reconnected as adults, and shared many traits of the White/Kawash women - quick witted and kind, but with a serious take charge attitude. Finding a man to love a Kawash women isn't an easy task, but I know she meant the world to you Steve and loved you dearly. You'll always have a special place in my heart cousin Carla and in the hearts of all the lives you've touched. Your cousin - Karen

Carla, your sweet smile, your loving personality will be missed. I know we will meet on the other side one sweet day. The dear precious LORD gained an angel the day you were called home. You had so many friends, family members that are going to miss you, you will never be forgotten. You will continue to live on in people's hearts. RIP

Carla. I absolutely cannot believe you’re gone. You were THE BEST person...always in a great mood (in the presence of your patients anyway, haha!). You were my MOST favorite part of the dentist - and I always looked forward to (not) telling you what I had for lunch! I’m going to miss your smile...your sarcasm...your amazingly sweet disposition...even the Vaseline you loved to make me put on before a cleaning. I know you’re in Heaven - cringing right now - watching me eat candy this late at night. 😉 But...on a serious note...you are dearly missed...God gained a beautiful angel that day...and life will NEVER be the same without you. I love you...and I know, one day, I’ll see you on the other side!
