Papa, you're missed beyond words every day. We're so grateful for the time we've gotten to spend with you and I cherish every memory I have. You are so loved and will continued to be missed every single day. Thank you for all that you have done for each and every one of us. You've made amazing lives for all of us and we will forever be greatful. I will see you again one day. I love you.

Dad, Thank you for all you gave us. Thank you for the lessons taught, the love shown. Thank you for the lives that we have and were able to obtain because you and Mom, through your examples and your efforts, made them attainable. Throughout the years there have been trials, tribulations, successes and failures (far too many of the prior and few of the latter). We have endured tragedies, traumas, crisis and sadness. There have been triumphs and moments of happiness and great joy. Regardless, good or bad, happy or sad, we have endured... Dad, I believe that is your greatest legacy... despite all the hardship, all the trials and all the tribulations, we have endured. You chose your spouse incredibly wisely, and you raised children (and subsequently grandchildren and great grandchildren) who are intelligent, resilient, kind, caring, loving, compassionate and good citizens. You did so under incredibly difficult circumstances and at an extreme disadvantage. You (as are all of us) were flawed. You struggled throughout your life, doing the best that you could. Your faults and your failures, your successes and your love made all of us better people, stronger and more resilient. I/we have taken the good and forgotten the rest. I hope my children will do the same. I love you, I miss you (more than words can say) and I thank you- for all that I am, all that I have done, all that I will do and all that I have been able to achieve. You are my father and I recognize that you, as I, are not ... were not perfect. You were, however, perfect for me.
