The Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce has purchased a memorial tree in Kathy's name.

Kathy & I started working for the Town of Colonial Beach around the same time; we were the newbies together. Kathy was dedicated and always willing to lend a hand. She always took care of everyone else before herself. She loved her family most of all. She will be missed.

I am so sorry and actually shocked to hear of Kathy's passing. She was truly a wonderful person, doing anything and everything for everybody. She was devoted to her family and her friends and she will surely be missed by many. Prayers for her family

My former coworker at the Journal, Kathy was the calm in sometimes stormy newsroom. When she left to go work for Colonial Beach she left a void in our office. Always wearing a smile. I miss her still. Rest In Peace.
