Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on July 15 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery
Margaret Louise Davis Laughon, born August 23, 1944 to the late Nannie Knobloch and James Davis, departed this life on June 23, 2020 at Elizabeth Adam Crump Health and Rehab in Glen Allen, VA. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Laughon; brother Sam Davis; step-father William Knobloch; and son-in-law Michael Tilley.
Survivors include her sister Vickie Sessoms; daughters Lisa Tilley and Karen Maes; grandchildren Caleb Maes, Laine Maes, Caroline Tilley; nephews Scott Davis and Sean Davis; and niece Kelly Davis.
Margaret was a 1962 graduate of Colonial Beach HS. She was a member of Colonial Beach Baptist Church and loved all the old hymns. She also volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital gift shop for a number of years.
