I love you so much thank you for everything you ever did for me I appreciate you more than you ever got to know. You were the absolute best aunt in the world. You treated us like yours. The memories are endless. Hope and I still say can you spare a square when someone doesn’t give us an enough ice. I don’t know why these things happen. And it’s not fair. I’ll miss you everyday. And I know that mawmaw and pawpaw were over the moon to see you. This doesn’t seem real yet it is. I will never forget you. You were and are one of the strongest women I know.

I couldn’t write this a year ago as I couldn’t find the words. Tomorrow is one year since we lost one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. Marty was one of my dearest friends for more than 20 years. She was my teacher, mentor, life coach (though she would say I never listened) but most of all a precious friend. She lit up the room with her beautiful smile . She had one of those personalities that just drew people in. I miss hearing her yell good night (whenever she did leave the office on time) or her making an announcement over the intercom that would make everyone laugh. I miss all the jokes and laughter. I miss having my friend to go to when I had a problem or share good news with. Marty I miss you as much today as a year ago. And anyone who knew Marty knew about her love story with Noel. They were each other’s soulmates and best friends. Their love for one another was a beautiful thing to witness. My thoughts and prayers are always with Noel and her sister and family. Marty will forever be in our hearts and will live through all of our memories. Marty- until we see each other again ( and boy will I talk your ear off!) Love Jenny Bec

Marty and Noel were very close friends of mine for many, many years. We were all much younger then... our lives went in different directions and sadly we lost touch, but the bonds of friendship never fade. My friendships with Marty and Noel are part of my best memories as I am sure they have been part of everyone who morns this loss. Marty was Noel's high school sweetheart and it was meant to be when they married. They shared a love and bond between them that was uncommon and inspiring to others. I learned of Marty's passing just a day ago and I am so saddened. Marty will always be with you Noel. May you blessed with healing. So very, very sorry.

I am a former co-worker of Marty. I was so sad to hear of her passing. Marty and I worked closely at DCSE in the court unit. She was hard working and a delight to have as a coworker. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Tracy Dodson

Every so often a person enters your world that shows you what true compassion; grace; mercy; loyalty; friendship; and love is, Marty was certainly one of those people. She was so full of joy; happiness; enthusiasm; love; strength and life, that one simply need only to be around her to catch it too. She was a remarkable woman and I will always miss her. She loved Noel so much. She talked about him a lot and how wonderful her life was with him. My prayers go out to Noel and the rest of her family. I will miss our talks, she was the one I relied on and ran to when I needed that ear. I often needed her when things seemed to be upside down and she used to say to me that no matter how tough things get, never ever let em see that its getting to you. She said you smile no matter what, and make em believe that you got this even if you feel like you don't. So Marty, I'm smilin' and I'm not going to say goodbye, I'll just say see ya on the other side girlfriend! T.

The passing of Marty is a big loss to the DCSE family. Not only was she a friend, she was a great leader and mentor. She could make you laugh too which is one of the things I will miss about her. Condolences to Noel and family. Suzanne Rouse

As a friend and former coworker I will always remember Marty as bold, brilliant and beautiful. Lovingly dedicated to her husband and family. Committed to perfection in her work at DCSE and to her coworkers she put her heart and soul into everything. She loved those around her and often showed us that with praise and surprises. She knew she was blessed and thanked God. My heart breaks for her family and friends and I pray for your comfort as you hold on to cherished memories. May God give you peace. Love, Ceil B
