Billy showed me a lot about operating equipment . A great memory for me is when I was fourteen we were on a restricted part of NSWC and he showed me how to run a D-6 CAT dozer. This was the first time I ever operated a piece of equipment. I watched him clear land, put in drain fields, and rebuild engines, he could do it all! I knew him all of my life and had the privilege of working and learning from him. Billy, Larry Tate, and Roger Staples, these men bring a smile to my face. They worked together. drank together, joked together and they taught me a lot . When I get an opportunity to operate equipment I think of these men. They are all gone now but never forgotten. Rest in peace Billy you will be missed.

Uncle Billy will be in my thoughts, and my heart until the day I meet up with him again on the streets of gold. He is an excellent uncle, and human being. He worked hard all of his life for his family, and if you ever needed anything, he would be one of the first to extend a helping hand. I\'ll never forget how relieved I was when I and my cousin Laura got caught trying to run away \"To see what we were missing out there in the big old world\", and he handled it with calmness, and love. I thought for sure that big, burly man was going to kill us. Although, I\'m glad he\'s not suffering anymore, and is out of pain, I will miss seeing him, and talking to him in the future. Fly hgh uncle Billy! You will never be forgotten! My Love Always, Melody Rawlette (Thompson)
