Bernard so sorry for your loss. I rarely get to visit Colonial Beach now that I'm in FL. but when back home I remember the good old days and how your Dad and I would talk at the Hardware store. I always thought how kind your dad and mom we're to me growing up. I wasn't the best kid growing up but I think your Mom and Dad knew I really was a good kid and I appreciate them even now they are in Heaven. May you and your family have great Peace during this time.

Bernie, I was saddened to learn of your mom's passing...saw her obituary in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star this past week. I remember your mom (and dad) from your Marine Corps' retirement ceremony in Colonial Beach several years' ago...very nice people. J.P this is a hard time for all who knew your mom. She was a special woman and raised you in the man you are Today. Strong, Kind and with nothing but a caring heart who stood by his mom even though no matter how hard things got for you, you would be there in a split second if needed. I know you feel the world is on your shoulder right now just know she is there with you. and so are all your friends. May this comfort to you and family we care.
