Fred and family: We were so sorry to read of Billie’s passing and to learn she was an ALS victim. We fondly remember you both and your family from our years with the Sting RAYS decades ago. The Fennemore family

Mrs. Perrine will always have a special place in our hearts. She was our son’s preschool teacher at Oakland Baptist Church in the early ‘90s. I recall feeling happy to see her again unexpectedly at an art show in Colonial Beach in which her husband’s work was featured. Mrs. Perrine was sweet to remember so many years later our son being in her class! She was telling me with excitement about going to visit her son’s family overseas. I was not aware she had ALS and was sad to read of her passing. Our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. May she Rest In Peace. ??

Fred, I'm so sorry you lost Billie. We only met once, when I was at your house to inquire about prints; but your love for her was obvious and beautiful. I was very impressed with your art; if you'd like a sketching partner for some landscape or figurative outings, please give me a call; art is a healing practice.

We have SO many wonderful memories of the times when our families were much younger. We spent a lot of time at the Eden Estates pool. Fred and Billie were always there - helping, managing, instructing. Chris and Nick worked so very well with the younger swimmers.

Dear Ones, It is hard to know what to say at times like this, but I would like to share what my daddy taught me many years ago. He said, that as long as we keep the happy memories of our loved ones close in our heart and share them with others, they will stay close to us. I have tested that many times and found it to be true. I am sure that you have a multitude of happy memories of Billie to remember and share. Do that and smile. That is what she would have you do. Your precious family remains in my prayers.
