Doris Mitchell Church

Doris Mitchell Church, 85 of Bowling Green passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her home. Born in North Carolina, Doris was a hairdresser for over 40 years, operating Waverly Beauty Salon from her home. She was an active member of Salem Baptist Church in Sparta. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Church and her daughter, Teresa Gould.  Survivors include her daughters, Connie Davis (Duane), Carolyn Catlett (Steve) and Cathy Alley (Bernie); her sisters, Ruby Foster (Bobby) and Joyce Jewell; her grandchildren, Chuck Chandler, Brandy Bowie (Shane), Danielle Catlett and Cody Catlett (Crystal); great grandchildren, Braden Martin, Brianna Martin, Morgan Catlett and Caedence Catlett; four nieces and nine nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 13^th at 11:00am at Salem Baptist Church, with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
