Barbara Ann Matusek Purks

Barbara Ann Matusek Purks, 71, of Bowling Green died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home. Born in Pennsylvania, she retired from Stellar One and was a member of St Mary of the Annunciation. Barbara was a devout Catholic and was a loving person to everyone she met.She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Purks; two sons, Jason Purks (Sherri) and Jeremiah Purks (Aimee Pond); two sisters, Anne Marie Matusek and Bernadette Page; a brother, Julius Matusek (Karen); a sister-in-law, Joann Matusek; a grandson, Shane Purks and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Matusek. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Mary of the Annunciation, Ladysmith, Va. The family will receive friends on hour prior at the church.
