Vasco Winfield Wilson

Vasco “Winfield” Wilson, 80, of Ruther Glen passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Pitts Wilson; his parents, Vasco Winfield Wilson, Sr. and Eloise S. Wilson; his infant daughter, Robin Elizabeth Wilson, and his grandson, Vasco N. Wilson. He is survived by his children, Mark W. Wilson and Susan W. Morley (Kevin) as well as two grandchildren, Kieran and Caroline Morley. Winfield was known for his infectious laugh and he had a knack for “telling it like is” in the funniest possible way.  He enjoyed a cold beer, a game of cards with his friends, anything outdoors (especially those early morning golf games!) and would go out of his way to help others.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved him dearly.  A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 18 at County Line Baptist Church.
