Carroll Ray Schools

Carroll Ray Schools, age 79, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his residence. He was a lifetime member of Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department where he served as treasurer for 30 years, a member of Bowling Green Baptist Church where he had served as deacon and chairman of the Building and Grounds committee for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Schools; two sons, Chris Schools (Debbie) of Bowling Green and Todd Schools of King William; two grandsons, Devin Schools (Donna) of Bowling Green and Adam Schools (Sara), a great-grandson, Grayson of St. Stephens Church and a sister, Dorothy Newbill of Sandston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bowling Green Baptist Church, P. O. Box 543, Bowling Green, VA 22427 or Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 161, Bowling Green, VA 22427. A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Bowling Green, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
