Elsie Mae Brooks Crowell

Elsie Mae Crowell, 70, of Woodford passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.  She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family and friends.  Elsie enjoyed her flowers, gardening, camping and crabbing.  She was preceded in death by her son Ned Douglas Carter; her parents Clarence & Edna Brooks and her brothers Wayne, James, David and Leroy.  Elsie is survived by her husband Willard Morris “Dick” Crowell, Jr.; three children Justin Crowell, Angela DeLoach (Wesley) and Brandi Fuller (Ray); two brothers Raymond Brooks (Cheryl) and John Brooks; two grandchildren Matthew Cooper and Gregory Arnold and several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. Tuesday September 27, 2022 in Storke Funeral Home, followed by the service at 3:00 p.m.  Tommy Satterwhite will officiate.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
