Elizbeth Marie Hall Whittaker

Elizbeth Marie Hall Whittaker, 57, of Colonial Beach, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her home.  Daughter to Thomas Hall and Rhoda Tapponnier Smoot, and step-daughter to Bill Smoot.  Elizbeth graduated from Colonial Beach High School and attended college for two years.  She worked at NSWC Dahlgren as a system engineer for a number of years.

In addition to her parents Thomas and Rhoda, Elizbeth was preceded in death by her sister Pamela Morgan.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years and high school sweetheart Joseph C. Whittaker, Sr.; children Nicole Greber (Megan) and Curtis Whittaker; grandchildren Noah, Grayson, Connor and Kenzie; brothers Bryan Smoot and Pat Smoot (Kim); nieces and nephews Blaize Smoot, Ally Pratt, Ethan Pratt, Kaetlyn Franklin and Brooklyn Smoot; and step-father Bill Smoot.

The memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, October 11 at Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach Chapel.
