His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service (to celebrate his and Myrtle’s life) will be held on Thursday, November 17th at 2:00pm in the King George Chapel of Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Historyland Memorial Park. |

Antonio T. Zampese, 87 of Colonial Beach, formerly of Alexandria, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his home. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he had retired as a dispatcher with Metro in Washington DC. Tony enjoyed fishing on his pontoon boat, watching the horse races, playing poker and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Robin, Tony (Sandy), Janet and Amy; his brother, Bob; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; his brother, Sonny and his sister, June and son-in-law, David.
