Theresa Lynn Harmon Furrow, 60, of Bowling Green, went to be with Our Lord and Savior on March 29, 2023. She was the granddaughter of the late Ethel Virginia Byrnes and the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Heflin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Harmon and brothers, Joseph and Wayne Harmon. Theresa loved Jesus and was active in church most of her life. She spent the last 18 years working as a rural carrier for Fredericksburg/Falmouth USPS. Previous to that she worked at CVS Distribution center alongside her Mother for many years. Theresa loved her customers and serving the community. Most of all she loved her family and always wanted to see them happy. She was a selfless giving person and it showed in her every action as she would go without so her loved ones could have. Theresa was married to her high school sweetheart Donnie for 41 years. Together they had 3 children she was especially proud of. However, her true love was her grandchildren. Her grandkids would always say Trenton was the favorite. We all agreed. She enjoyed visiting the mountains and the beach. However, there is no place like home. She found solace sitting on her front porch watching the birds and squirrels play or listening to a good thunderstorm. She would often gaze at the moon in wonder. Her favorite saying was “Goodnight Moon” to those she loved. Theresa never met a stranger and if you were blessed to know her, she was your friend. Anyone who met Theresa fell in love with her. She will be greatly missed beyond all measure. She is survived by her husband, Donald Furrow; father, Michael Heflin; children, Chase Furrow, Hillary Johnson (Ryan) and Ciara Furrow; sister, Kimberly Furrow (Steven); her grandchildren, Trenton Furrow, Zoey Furrow, Alexis Johnson, Gavin Johnson and Jayce Johnson. She had many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green Va, on Sunday April 16th at 4pm. Visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
