Dale Alan Angell, 61, of Colonial Beach, VA passed away on June 25, 2023. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Dale had a deep appreciation for lighthouses, sailboats, and the vast expanse of the ocean. He found solace and joy in living by the water. Known for his kind heart and playful nature, Dale had a knack for teasing those around him, always bringing laughter and smiles to their faces. His adventurous spirit led him to explore various parts of the world. Dale was an avid traveler who had the opportunity to visit numerous destinations throughout the USA, as well as countries abroad, including Egypt and England. Among his cherished places, Lake Mead held a special place in his heart. A true enthusiast of Star Trek, Dale eagerly attended the annual Star Trek convention in Las Vegas, immersing himself in the rich universe of the beloved series. In addition to his passion for science fiction, he delighted in board games and once worked as a craps dealer in Las Vegas, adding a touch of excitement to the lives of others. Dale was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 148, where he found great camaraderie and valued the sense of community. Dale is preceded in death by his loving parents, Raymond & Roberta Angell. He is survived by his children, Wesley Angell, Kaitlin Angell-Renteria, and Josh Mitchell; sisters, Donna Angell and Nikki Angell-Mackenzie; as well as his grandchildren, Tegan, Ezekiel, and Tygalili.
