Barbara Fraughnaugh Seal, 89, of Sparta died peacefully Monday, August 7, 2023 at her home. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and had retired after almost 50 years. She was the widow of the late George F. Seal and was preceded in death by two brothers, William L. “Billy” Fraughnaugh and James F. “Tubby” Fraughnaugh. She is survived by her two children, Bradley Seal (Sandy) and Beverly Seal (Bobby Hart); two sisters, Virginia Ellis (George) and Patricia Jones; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Jared Beasley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
