Ethel W Carter

Ethel W. Carter, 78 of Bowling Green passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. She was born in Caroline County on January 27^th 1945 and was a graduate of Union High School.  Survivors include her husband of 58 years, David W. Carter, Sr.; her mother, Susie Woolfolk; her four children, Bridgette Carter, David W. Carter, Jr (Steph), Michael Carter (Berenice) and Mark Carter (Rhonda); her two brothers, Alfred “Sonny Boy” Woolfolk, Jr. (Virginia) and Irving Woolfolk (Winnie); seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her beloved father Alfred T. Woolfolk, Sr. and brother Randolph Woolfolk.  A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday August 12^th at 2:00pm in the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home. Inurnment of her ashes will take place later at the Johnson Family Cemetery.
