On September 16, 2023, Helen L. Jones Snedeker passed away at home after fighting a long battle with COPD. Helen was born on May 10, 1950 to Anita Jones and Edward Wesley Jones, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Anita Marie Eubank as well as her husband, Steve Snedeker. Helen leaves behind her brother, Edward Wes Jones, Jr. (Kim) of Colonial Beach and her sister, Sherry Lynn Epperson (Virgil) of King George. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, as well as her beloved companion, Ruger. She will be immensely missed by all her family and friends. Helen enjoyed gardening in her yard and her efforts were evident in her beautiful flower beds. She also enjoyed playing with Ruger, who was a great source of happiness for her. Helen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had health issues for several years, but never let them stop her. She was a determined and spunky lady to the end. Per Helen’s request, burial will be private at a later date.
