Clyde “Red” Paschall, 87 of Ruther Glen passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born in Milan, Tennessee on the 10th of December 1935, he served in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. He retired at Andrew’s Air Force base in Maryland where he met the love of his life. A proud Navy Seabee Chief with two tours in Vietnam and overseas tours in Cuba and Bermuda. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing Golf and shooting pool, and entertaining his family and friends with huge fish fry’s and crab feasts. He enjoyed many titles in his lifetime, Chief, Red to his friends, husband to his wife, Dad to his children and Paw Paw to his grand and great grandchildren. He cherished his family and always tried to stay in touch with everyone by his Sunday phone calls. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Catherine Paschall; his children, Rick Paschall (Terry), John Cross, Phyllis Dagenhart, Linda Straight (Jerry), Mary Cross and Cathy Swisher (Kevin); fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
