Marylou H. Dickens, a longtime resident of Colonial Beach, Virginia passed away at home on Friday, October 6, 2023. She was 95. Born October 29, 1927, in Morrisdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Ivy Hubler. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Paradis and her husband Henry; her son Kim Dickens; grandchildren, Mary Allison Wood and husband Daniel and Carey Jane Paradis; her great-grandsons, Dustin Wood and Parker Wood; sister Jane Marra and numerous nieces and nephews, and their families. Marylou loved to sing and was a member of the church choir at the United Methodist Church, she cherished her family and loved keeping in touch with friends, she proudly retired from the Federal Government with 36 years of service as an Executive Secretary in Dahlgren, VA. Following retirement, she was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), member of the Historical Society, Colonial Beach, VA. The immediate family would like to extend their gratitude to those who supported Marylou in her later years, especially Nancy Muse of Colonial Beach, VA.
