Robert J. “Bob” Nunnenkamp, Sr, 70, of King George passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was a Marine, a retired power plant operator, and a welder. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa “Terry” Lee Nunnenkamp, and two brothers Martin and Michael Nunnenkamp. He is survived by his significant other Teresa Hinds of Fredericksburg; his children Jennifer Lee Wiltz (Scott) of St Cloud, FL and Robert J. “Bobby” Nunnenkamp, Jr. (Jen) of King George; his sister Mary Helen Arcuri (Tony) of Ormond Beach, FL; his four grandchildren Carley, Madelyn, Kayden and Deklyn; Jason Smith (Madelyn’s father), Robin Nelson (Kayden and Deklyn’s mother), and dozens of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Bob had a big heart, a creative mind, and deep love for family and friends. His laughter from a good joke was only surpassed by his selflessness helping those around him. Family, friends, and strangers alike were touched by his kindness and all who knew him are better off for it. He is and will be greatly loved and missed.
