Shirley Ann Bedsaul Wagner, 77, was called to her heavenly home Saturday, October 28, 2023 in King George, VA. Shirley loved to travel with her husband in their motorhome. She proudly boasted that she had visited all 50 states, and especially enjoyed Alaska and Hawaii. From 2012 to 2016, she and Skip embraced the warmth of the sun as snowbirds in Leesburg, FL. Affectionately known as Memaw, Shirley’s heart overflowed with love for her family. She cherished moments spent with her loved ones, whether it was engaging in heartfelt conversations over the phone, sharing cherished photographs, or hosting in her home. Shirley enjoyed staying connected to her community through her love for Facebook and expressed an avid interest in local happenings. She enjoyed watching Western movies and murder shows. She is survived by her adoring family; sons, Mark Wagner and Tim Dix (Bobbi Jo), daughters, April Brinson (Gary) and Sandi Allmond (partner Kevin Delaney). Her spirit lives on in her grandchildren: Caleb Brinson (Angel), Katie Wagner (partner Jimmy Burdette), David Wagner (Janelle), Jacob Brinson (fiance Sara Cait), Justin Dix (Stacey), Lauryn Kirkpatrick (Jake), Hannah Wagner (partner Joey Eakins), Jack Allmond and Joshua Dix. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her great-grandchildren, Megan Heironimus, Leland Brinson, Kinsley Kirkpatrick, Ada Brinson, and Willow Kirkpatrick. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest Bedsaul, and sister, Pamela Alexander. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley Otto (Skip) Wagner, her mother Oleta Gibson and her brother, Ohlen Bedsaul. Shirley was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church. She retired from JWAC at Dahlgren where she received numerous awards for her outstanding work. She was a faithful member of the Eastern Star Wakefield Chapter #77, where she served as a Past Matron and Esther, Grand Representative for Montana. The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 2pm at Round Hill Baptist Church in King George.
