Barbara Beasley Pitts

Barbara Beasley Pitts, 73, of Milford died Sunday, November 12, 2023 at her home. Barbara retired after 34 years from Fort A. P. Hill and the continued to work part-time at Fort Walker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, was an excellent cook, loved making wreaths and doing crafts. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Milton Pitts; a son, Jamie Pitts (Freida); four half-sisters, Sharon Noszek, Faye Mundie, Tina Tidwell and Wanda Smith; three grandchildren, Josh Beazley, Justin Matthew Pitts (Rachel) and Chelsea Maxfield (Zach)and three great grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
