Richard G. Banks

Richard Gordon “Ricky” Banks, 71, of Port Royal passed away Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at his residence. He was a retired employee of Mary Washington Hospital. Ricky enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing over the years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Pamela McQueen Banks; two daughters Denise Staten of Spotsylvania and Kimberly Dameron of Fredericksburg; his brother Henry T. “Buddy” Banks, Jr. of Mechanicsville; two grandchildren Danielle Staten and Sophia Staten; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 4- 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22 at Vauters Episcopal Church Cemetery, 3661 Tidewater Trail, Loretto, VA.
