Capt. Curtis Bartmess, Jr., USN (Ret.)

Capt. Curtis Bartmess, Jr., USN (Ret.) passed away on February 2, 2024 at his home in Colonial Beach, VA at the age of 81. Curt was deeply devoted to his family and his community, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He served honorably in the United States Navy for 26 years, demonstrating unwavering dedication and integrity throughout his service.

Curt is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; five children; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister; and two brothers.

In accordance with Curt’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. His memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.
