Robert Alan Carpenter, 72, of Colonial Beach, passed away on September 9 2024. Bob graduated from Northwestern High School before beginning a long career with the airlines, where he enjoyed his work at Raegan National Airport. He was passionate about life near the water, finding joy in spending time on the beach. An avid archer, Bob continued to hone his skills. Above all, his true love was music, and he was a devoted Beatles fan! As a father, Bob was known for his fun and loving nature. He adored his children and grandchildren and was cherished for his iconic sayings, which will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him, keeping his memory alive. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Carpenter and Annabelle Noaker; and brother, Willie Noaker. Bob is survived by his children, Colleen E Carpenter and Christian R Carpenter (Jess); grandchildren, Piper N Roberts and Heath J Carpenter; sister, Pam Davies; the mother of his children, Margy Carpenter; and his beloved French bulldog, Hank.
