Daniel "Big Dan" Taylor

Daniel W.  Taylor, “Big Dan” passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024.  He is survived by his loving wife Patricia J. Mawyer; “His Boys” Rufus & Beans; his son David Taylor; adopted son Randy Wright; sisters Mary Schweiters of Colorado, Angie Greene of Front Royal, Lena Roxberry of Pennsylvania; brother John Taylor of Iowa ; his special Aunt & Uncle Patti and Marvin Gordon of Front Royal.

Big Dan’s greatest love of life was working on Smith Dairy Farm, hunting, the Dallas Cowboys and arguing with his mother in law Jean McArthur over the Redskins.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caroline County Agricultural Fair Association, P O Box 1207, Ruther Glen, VA 22546.
