Philip Alexander Hooks, 65, of Colonial Beach, passed away on October 11, 2024. Philip was a talented singer, performing with the band “Pyramid” in Colonial Beach before sharing his gift with the worship group at New Life Ministries. A true car enthusiast, he had a special love for his green GTX. Known as “Mr. Fix It”, Philip’s skills extended beyond cars; he enjoyed building elaborate LEGO creations, including intricate cars and city scenes. Above all, Philip was a kind and loving man who deeply cherished his wife. Philip is preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Maureen Hooks. Philip is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Charlene Hooks; children, Philip Alexander Hooks II (Candice) and Amy Marie Hooks; sister, Michele Bacskocky; grandchildren, Emily Hooks, Cecil Whitaker, and Lilah Hooks; as well as many nieces and nephews; and a beloved American Foxhound mix, Sammy.
