Betty Joe Hays Warren

Betty Joe Warren, 92, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024. She was born on March 29, 1932 in Glenville, WV to her beloved parents, John and Hallie Hays.

A faithful member of Colonial Beach United Methodist Church and volunteer at the Colonial Beach OPP Shop, Betty worked for 30 years at Sears and was a member of the Lions Club in Colonial Beach.

Betty Joe was a devoted wife and mother who deeply cherished her family. She was dedicated to her faith and a joyful, hospitable woman. She loved to spend time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Russell Warren, two sisters, Hallie Jean and Margaret (Marge), one brother, Charles (Bubby) Hays, one grandson, Robert (Little Robby).

She is survived by her five children, Russell, Jr. (Kitty), Randall (Tarri), Robert (Sandy), Vicki (Roger) and Cindy (Tommy), eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, one brother Nolan Hays (Pat) and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 12 at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel.
