Jason Matthew Grubbs

Jason Matthew Grubbs, born on November 21, 1995, passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 29. Jason was a beloved son, father, and brother, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was born to Billie Grubbs and Violet Doss, and is survived by his father, Billie Grubbs and stepmother, Katherine Grubbs. He is predeceased by his mother, Violet Doss, and his grandparents.

Jason was a devoted father to his two cherished children, Gabriella Grubbs and Hunter Grubbs, who were the light of his life. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and hunting, activities that brought him immense joy and peace. Jason’s appreciation for the outdoors was a defining aspect of his character, and he found solace in the beauty of the world around him.

He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his siblings: Chris, Brenda, Freddie, Shannon, Scott, Paul, Brandy, Jeanette, Billie, Tiffany, and Kaitlyn. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he in theirs. Jason’s family and friends will remember him for his kind and funny spirit, his love for adventure, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Jason’s passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and his love of life. The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm on Saturday, December 14 at Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach Chapel.
