Andrew Irvin Anderson

Andrew Irvin Anderson, 92 of Beaverdam, VA, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025 at his home. He was born in Hanover, VA and spent his life in Caroline County. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting with family and friends. Every year, he looked forward to planting and growing his vegetable garden as well as many beautiful flowers. After his retirement from Phillip Morris, he could be found in his workshop. He was a skilled carpenter and created a variety of wood pieces in which he shared with family and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Alice Pugh Anderson as well as five sisters and one brother. Even though he and Alice did not have children of their own, they played a vital role in the lives of their nieces and nephews. Especially their “boys”, Jason, Troy and Sean Pugh as well as a special niece, Debbie Ernest. The family would like to thank his caretaker, Junelle Wallace for her help in his care. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at County Line Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to County Line Baptist cemetery fund.
