Elijah Dale Plew, 19, of King George, VA, passed away on February 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Elijah was born in San Diego to Casey and Carolina Plew on August 15, 2005. He grew up in San Diego and moved to King George at 13 years old, where he graduated with his high school diploma with honors from King George High School in 2023. He was a member of the History club and was the Dungeon Master for his weekly Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. He was accepted to Roanoke College and attended in the Fall of 2023. Elijah married his long-time girlfriend and love of his life, Jill Wedding, on December 21, 2024, in a beautiful ceremony with family and friends. Passionate about sports, he played Free Safety and Wide Receiver for King George Foxes and after graduation supported the players as Junior Varsity Assistant Coach. He was a dedicated San Diego Padres and Chargers fan with incredible proficiency for analyzing the players, their performance, and game strategy, a pastime he shared with his dad and brother. He is survived by his wife, Jillian “Jill”, his parents, Casey and Carolina Plew, his brother, Jacob “Quinn” Plew, his extended family, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his dog, Handsome Dan. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother “Grandma Rusty”, his abuela, Maria Carmen Babin, and his uncle, Jack Purper. Elijah will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family and friends.
