Marilyn Miles Oliphant

Marilyn Ann Miles Oliphant, 90, of Ruther Glen, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Bowling Green Health and Rehab.

Born in Pennsylvania, Marilyn was the beloved only child of Howard Leigh Miles and Thelma Halprin Miles. She led a life defined by grace, dedication, and curiosity. For 15 years, she served faithfully as a secretary at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green, Ohio, where her kindness and diligence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Marilyn was a woman of many interests. She had a deep love for history, which she nurtured through extensive reading and memorable travels to Russia and Ukraine. Her green thumb brought beauty into the lives of those around her, as she found joy and peace in gardening.

Above all, Marilyn was a devoted mother. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Harriet Clift (Ray) and Melissa Oliphant, who will carry forward her legacy of strength, curiosity, and compassion. She is survived by numerous cousins and loving family.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Sat. Apr. 19, 2025 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.

Her memory will be cherished, her life celebrated, and her presence deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
