Deborah C. Smart Molter

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Carol Molter (Smart), beloved mother, Gran, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025 at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of her family.

Deborah’s warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met. She was the heart and soul of her family,
and her love for them knew no bounds. Above all else, she cherished her role as a mother and wife. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and her home was always a place of comfort.

Deborah was a hard worker and had a deep love for the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for flower gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that filled her yard,  She could often be found tending to her flowers and plants, lost in the peace it brought her. Fishing was another of her favorite pastimes, where she found solace in nature, as well as spending time along the shorelines of the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Molter; sons, Austin May (Shannon), Wesley May (Madison),  Justin Molter (Chelsea), and Spencer Reaves; grandchildren; mother, Lemoine Howard Smart; and siblings, Donna Adams (Tim), Diane Bierlair (Allen), and Ryland Smart (Stephanie). She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley J. Smart.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th , 4pm-6pm at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.

Deborah may have left this world, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beauty she created. Her laughter, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed, but will never be forgotten and the memories she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to love her.
