Joseph Wedding

Joseph Wedding, 71, of Hanover, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at his home. Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late Ricard V. Wedding and Irene Hart Wedding.

Joseph was known for his love of fishing and caring for his yard. He retired in 2008 from Lewis Tree Company after many dedicated years of service. A quiet man who found joy in simple pleasures, Joseph will be remembered for his steadfast presence and love for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Doris Wedding; daughter Michelle Christian; son Michael Bowie; stepson Michael Taylor and his wife Kasi; and his sister, Mary. He was preceded in death by his siblings Virgie Welch, Richard H. Wedding, Richard C. Wedding, James Wedding, Hazel Wedding, Fiddy Posey, Sonny Posey, and his beloved dog, Ginger.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
