Maxine Southworth Beazley, 89, of Bowling Green, Virginia, passed away on June 1, 2025. She lived a vibrant life filled with energy, passion, and kindness. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she was on the kitchen committee, she was in the handbells and the church choir. Her love for horse racing was matched only by her enthusiasm for square dancing, where she was often seen smiling and laughing with friends. Whether tending to her lawn with care or preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, she brought dedication and joy to everything she did. A proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was deeply committed to community service. She was also active in the Canasta Club and served faithfully with the Women’s Auxiliary of the Fire Department, contributing her time and talents to causes close to her heart. She will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and grace. She is survived by her son, Clayton Todd Beazley and his wife, Sylvia. She was a beloved grandmother to Clifton Clayton Beazley (Hailey), Kara Todd Beazley (Ben), Morgan Blanton (Bryce), Lacey Romans (Cody), and Briar Cox. Her cherished great- grandchildren Lane Kelley, Adley Blanton, Riverlyn Blanton, Waylon Blanton, Axel Romans, and Lilly Romans, — along with one more little blessing on the way, Emmett John Beazley. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
