JoAnne Barlow Truslow

JoAnne Barlow Truslow, age 69, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at VCU Medical Center. Born on July 15, 1955, in Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Alexander Barlow Jr. and Ruby Whittaker Barlow.

JoAnne was married to Edward Michael Truslow, with whom she shared many loving years until his passing on September 5, 2005. JoAnne worked as a bookkeeper at Southern States for twenty years before retiring to care for her family. She lovingly cared for her mother, husband, father, and her brother, Larry Barlow, through their final days.

JoAnne is survived by her son, Eddie Truslow; her brothers, Kenneth Barlow (Ginny), Wayne Barlow (Dawn), and Edwin Barlow (Angela); and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
