Betty Schools Elliott

Betty Schools Elliott, 89, of Newtown passed away Sat., June 28, 2025 at Northern Neck Senior Center in Warsaw. She was married to George W. Elliott for 67 years before he died in 2020.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Seal.  Betty was a member of Upper King and Queen and was a bus driver for many years for Aylett Country Day School. Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Elliott and Sharon Burton (Curt); two sisters, Joyce Mitchell and Gayle Regelin (Corey); a brother, Howard T. Schools, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Tyler Seal (Ashley), Chad Seal (Emily), Chris Burton (Amanda), Joshua Burton (Rebecca), Douglas Burton, Dylan Burton (Courtney), Vincent Burton, and Ruby Burton.

A graveside service will be held 11 Am Friday, July 11, 2025 at Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Milford, VA. 22514. A reception will follow at Upper King and Queen, 1693 Bradley Farm Road, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
