Margaret Lee McMullen

Margaret Lee McMullen, 76, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at her home in Colonial Beach, VA. Margaret was born in Washington, D.C to parents Neal Hartwell McMullen and Kathleen Elizabeth Johnson McMullen.

Margaret was preceded in death by both her parents as well as her brother Neal Hartwell McMullen, Jr. She is survived her nephew Chris McMullen and his wife Michele; great nephew Michael McMullen and great niece Elizabeth McMullen.

Margaret, formerly of Alexandria, VA, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Longwood College and her Master’s Degree in Administration from the University of Virginia. She taught and later became the principal of an elementary school in Petersburg, VA and later finished her career at the Pentagon. Margaret enjoyed the theater and loved to travel. She was very active in her community.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 24, 2019 Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach, VA. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
