Ted Jay Foster

Ted Jay Foster “TJ”, from Ruther Glen at the age of 63 died on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at home with his loving family & best friend Bill Draper at his side. Ted was the son of the late Juanita Floyd and step-father Robert Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Foster; son, Michal Foster and daughter, Tia Longworth. He had four grandsons, Trenton Longworth, Max Longworth, Collin Foster and Ashton Foster. His three brothers, and one sister, Coleman Foster, Don Foster, Jimmy Foster and Robbyn Lynch.

Ted was the owner of TJ’s CB Shop in Carmel Church, which is now being run by his daughter, Tia Longworth and grandson, Trenton Longworth. TJ talked highly of his valued customers and friends.

Some of the things TJ enjoyed was playing poker, shooting pool and fishing in his back yard. He shared some great time with his poker buddies, enjoyed shooting pool with his family and friends. He told his loved ones how when he passed he couldn’t wait to see his fishing buddies Sassy and Missy (his dogs).

Per TJ’s request he will be cremated and a memorial will be held at a later date.
